Support for managing self-esteem issues
What is self esteem?
Self esteem is our opinion of ourselves and how much we like and value ourselves. It can be about physical appearance, how much emphasis we put on what people think of us and how we feel about our values, achievements and abilities.
Signs and symptoms of low self esteem
When we have low self esteem it means generally feeling unhappy about ourselves most of the time. It can manifest by feeling unable to take on tasks and challenges, always seeing yourself in a negative light and being self critical. When our self esteem is low so is our self belief and our ability to recognise our strengths.
